B. Ajaneesh Loknath, a renowned Indian music composer known for his work on the critically acclaimed film Kantara (2022), has joined the upcoming action thriller Kattalan as its music director, generating buzz due to his history of delivering impactful scores in Kannada and Telugu cinema.
Kattalan, directed by debutant Paul George and starring Antony Varghese, is produced by Shareef Muhammed of Cubes Entertainments, building on the success of their previous venture Marco, with the film's poster hinting at a dark, intense narrative involving a silhouetted figure and an axe in a forest setting.
Ajaneesh Loknath’s involvement is significant given his accolades, including the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Music Director for Ulidavaru Kandanthe (2015), and his frequent collaborations with prominent filmmakers like Rishab Shetty, which may elevate Kattalan’s appeal in the South Indian film industry.
